Our Mission is to represent Christ in the local community, demonstrating love of God and neighbour
St Augustines is a small and welcoming Christian church with a generous heart. Our vision is to be a vibrant, welcoming and growing community of people whose common life is centred on Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to encourage and strengthen each other in our Christian life, share God’s love with others through our words and actions and warmly welcome people of all ages to journey with us
We are linked to our neighbourhood through our kindergarten, which offers caring and creative educational experiences for preschoolers, through friendly contacts with our neighbours, community barbeques and other outreach programs, social and fundraising activities
We visit and care for the frail who are known to us and assist where we can. We offer pastoral care to those in need. For further information, please contact us
Our church doors are open every day for people to use our church as a place for quiet reflection during the course of our busy lives
Our outreach links include assisting St Marks Community Centre in Fitzroy and Bush Church Aid. Our Parish is in the Eastern Region of the Diocese of Melbourne, under Bishop Barbara Darling. We are linked to Anglican churches throughout the world through our membership of the Anglican Communion
